Who we are

What data we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here's what we gather:

  • Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, general location). This data is anonymous and aggregated.
  • Cookies — GA4 sets analytics cookies only if you accept them via our cookie banner. We also store your cookie consent preference in localStorage (not a cookie).

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information. There are no accounts, forms, or sign-ups.

Google Analytics & Consent Mode

We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics cookies are denied until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Google may still collect anonymized, cookieless pings for modeled reporting — this is handled server-side by Google.

How we use your data

Analytics data is used solely to understand which breed comparisons are popular and how to improve the site. We don't sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties beyond Google Analytics.

Your rights

You can decline analytics cookies at any time via the cookie banner (clear your localStorage to see it again). Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data — though since we don't collect identifiable data, there's typically nothing to delete.

If we make changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. No email blasts — we don't have your email.
